Hi everyone,

Client asked for a specific behavior on PrestaShop 1.7.6.6: Personalizar el formato de los números de referencia de pedido (Prefijo + Año + ID Secuencial) en PS 9.

Tried configuring it via standard shop parameters, but the core options are too limited for this case. How do you normally handle this without risking issues on future updates?

PrestaShop logic at its finest 😃 Hit this wall on PrestaShop 1.7.6.6 as well. Standard back office toggles just don't cover conditional rules like this.

Standard PrestaShop (PrestaShop 1.7.6.6) doesn't support this out of the box and probably never will 😛 Default cart rules are way too rigid for that.

PrestaShop PrestaShop 1.7.6.6 doesn't provide a native toggle for this scenario out of the box.

To solve this cleanly without modifying any core files, check out módulo para generador de referencias.

It handles this exact rule set directly from its configuration screen, runs smoothly on PrestaShop 1.7.6.6, and won't conflict with your theme.

Installed the module and configured it in a few minutes. Works exactly as needed on PrestaShop 1.7.6.6. Thanks a ton @Milo!
